Polling stations across the city of Wolverhampton are now open for the 2012 local elections. You now have until 10pm this evening to cast your vote, which takes less than a few minutes.
You should have received you poll card through the post telling you where your polling station is located. Some locations of polling stations have changed this year, in particular the one for Monmore Grange and the Westfields estate.
If you’ve lost of forget to take your poll card then don’t worry, you will still be able to cast your vote. If you’ve not sent back your postal vote yet, you can also drop this off at your polling station before 10pm tonight.
The Liberal Democrats have eight candidates standing this year in Wolverhampton and we hope that you can support us in the following wards:
East Park
Graiseley
Park
Penn
Springvale
Tettenhall Regis
Tettenhall Wightwick
Wednesfield South
We want to continue to campaign about Labour’s wasteful spending of your council tax, including their proposal to spend up to £20m on the Civic Centre rather than spending it on public services and the city centre, which is in desperate need for new business, regeneration and jobs for local people.
